Turkey spent 39 Billion Dollar for Tesettur Clothing

In ‘’Tesettur Clothing Forum’’  where the world’s leading Islamic clothing sector agents gathered in Italy, it was explained that Turkey led the way in İslamic clothing spending with 39, 3 billion dollar per year. In the forum which was carried out within the scope of Global Islam Economy Summit, according to the data given by Gi­an­mar­co Mon­ta­na­ri who is the General Manager of Economic Development, when the year 2013 is taken into consideration, muslim countries whose majority of population include Muslims follow Turkey; United Arab Emirates spent 22, 5 billion dollar, Indonesia spent 18, 8 billion dollar, Iran spent 17, 1 billion dollar, Saudi Arabia spent 16 billion dollar and Nigeria spent 14, 4 billion dollar for tesettur clothing. And in Europe, the Muslims who live in France, Germany and United Kingdom were stated to spend over 25 billion dollar consumption.

Sector will increase 484 Billion

According to the information given at the meeting, Muslim consumers spent 266 billion dollar for clothing and shoes in 2013. Silvio Cattaneo who is the representative of Italian National Fashion Craft Confederation said on Iran that came to terms with an international community on nuclear program issue ‘’ Iranians have an unbelievable interest for fashion and their national income is increasing as well’’.
