In cooperation with Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KMTSO) and Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality; the eleventh edition of the International Kahramanmaraş Textile Machinery (KTM) fair will be held under the main sponsorship of the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (İTHİB) and with the support of the Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) between 07-09 November with the participation of domestic and foreign visitors and exhibitors.
Countdown Began for the 11th KTM Fair
The international KTM fair will be held again this year in its own location and on its own calendar. KTM fairs, where leading textile machinery manufacturers and buying delegations from Turkey and from other world regions are taking part, feature the machinery and technologies of companies participating in a wide range of fields, from yarn to knitting and weaving, and from nonwoven fabrics to technical textiles. Every year, participating companies exhibit in the fair with yarn and yarn preparation machines, technical textiles and nonwoven fabrics machines, weaving preparation and weaving machines, knitting machines, embroidery machines, dyeing and finishing machines, textile chemicals, digital printing machines and garment machines.
Textiles at Home Again
The city of Kahramanmaraş, where the fair is held, also has strategic and geopolitical importance. Located at the intersection of textiles traffic, the city witnesses a large influx of visitors from Gaziantep, Adana, Niğde, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa, Kayseri, Malatya, Sivas, Adıyaman and surrounding provinces every year. Providing the production of 359 thousand tons of yarn, 138 million meters of woven fabric, 49 million meters of denim, 122 thousand tons of knitted fabric and 22.7 million pieces of garment annually, Kahramanmaraş stands out as one of the leading events in the industry.
