Despite all the negative political developments, Turkey's home textiles exports to the United States has significantly increased.

According to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Turkey, Turkey is the fourth largest home textiles supplier in the world and second largest in EU zone. Export products account for 60 percent of total output. The export volume of 2017 home textiles was announced to be 2 billion 600 million dollars. New York-based 'Home Textiles Today' did a story for the latest issue of home textiles products in Turkey. Joanne Friedrick, who wrote a letter about the volume of the export to the US by Turkey, has shared important details. Joanne Friedrick says the US home textiles import from Turkey has increased by 29,5 percent compared to that of previous year according to the data of Textile and Garment Department of Customs Authority of the United States. "Turkey may no fall into top 10 considering the home textile export to the US.  However, the purchase of home textiles made here has increased by 29.5 percent to reach $331 million compared to 2017", he comments.  The report also shows that while 17 percent of Turkish home textiles are imported by German companies, the charts where USA ranks second with 11 percent and Bulgaria the third with 6 percent are shared.  It is further suggested that Turkey continues to acquire new business partnerships in the US with its wide range of products and it has a production approach harmonised with Industry 4.0 vision..
