ISKO I-SKOOL™ Denim Design Competition organized by Premium denim manufacturer ISKO™ with the support of Mavi Jeans was carried out for the third times. In the competition in which the students where world’s important design schools participated, the future of the denim was redesigned. And the award ceremony of the competition at which François Girbaud, the founder of Marithé + François Girbaud brand, took part as the foreman was held in Villa Corner della Regina in Treviso, Italy.
ISKO I-SKOOL™ to which students participated from 16 universities such as Polimoda, Esmod and IUAV from Europe, USA and Japan, it was realized under the categories of “Denim Design Award” and “Denim Marketing Award”. Many prestigious brand supported the competitions which one of them is for designers and another one is for marketing professionals. Cüneyt Yavuz, CEO of Mavi, who talked on the competition said “We are really excited to celebrate our 25th anniversary in denim design and innovation. By now, we have had the chance of working with the best names of the sector to create an ideal denim quality. We value for the future of jean as being Turkey’s first denim brand and this is one of the main reasons why we collaborated with ISKO and supported ISKO I-SKOOLTM Denim Awards. We believe in the creativeness and talent of Denim Generation and the future of denim is brighter and more promising.”

Education composes of the core of our project. Our object is to help young talents to understand the importance of culture and industrialism as well as creativeness. ISKO I-SKOOL™ Winners
The winners of the competition became Ester Rigato at denim design field, Anna Biotti at Renewed Denim Icons and Joanna Rautiainen at Athleisure (Blue Special Award). While Jool Award and Swarovski Award were given to Ester Rigato once more again, Avery Dennison RBIS Award was given to Farah Sherif Wali, Vogue Talents Special Mansion Award was given to Danielle Thaxton and Special Award was given to Yuka Yamada.
Denim marketing awards were presented to Francesco Diomedi at Jool Category and Travis A. Rice at Athleisure category.
