Expanding Impact within the Smart Life 2030 Strategy

As part of Zorlu Textile Group, Zorluteks has published its 2024 Sustainability Report, prepared in line with GRI standards under the environmental, social, and governance pillars.
At its integrated production facilities in Lüleburgaz, the company continues to strengthen its sustainable production approach with the motto “Today for Tomorrow”, contributing to the transformation of the sector.

 

Cemil Çiçek: “We continue to inspire our industry”

Zorluteks General Manager Cemil Çiçek emphasized the company’s approach to developing sustainable and high-performance products, ranging from organic and recycled yarns to Ecodesign collections.
He underlined that in 2024 the company reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 47.6% compared to the previous year, and achieved a 50% reduction in carbon footprint per product with its TAÇ Reborn collections.

30% of R&D Focused on Sustainability

Approximately 30% of the projects carried out at Zorluteks’ R&D Center directly serve sustainability targets.
With TÜBİTAK-supported projects, the company develops AI-based carbon footprint calculation systems and water recovery solutions.

 

Strengthened Position with International Certifications

  • BEPI audit score: “B”
  • ZDHC Supplier to Zero Level 2 certification
  • HIGG FEM verification

These certifications confirm Zorluteks’ commitment to environmental performance and sustainable production standards at an international level.

 

Report Prepared in Line with Stakeholder Capitalism

The 2024 Sustainability Report was structured according to the WEF Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics.
Organized under the pillars of “Governance”, “Planet”, “People”, and “Prosperity”, the report also includes disclosures aligned with UNGC, UN WEPs, and TSRS standards.
