Xerium Introduced Its New Technology for Airlaid Applications

Ensuring web formation of 2,5 layer base fabric, Huycon air technology incorporates a fine-mesh product side designed with an air channel geometry for retention and release.

With regard to Huycon air technology that contains cross-linked conductive yarns by the specially designed conductive edge and ensures perfect static electricity distribution, Bill Butterfield, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Xerium, said: “The industry-proven Huycon product portfolio offers a complete range of belts specially designed for manufacturing top quality webs ranging from robust industrial products to highly critical medical and hygiene products.
