Textechno won the innovation award given by “JEC Innovations”. In the competition where composite applications made in Asia were evaluated, Textechno won an award in the category of test and control. While the award ceremony was held in Singapore on the 26th of June, 2012, important figures of the firm attended the event. Receiving the award with its Drapetest technology, Textechno highlights the use of optical system with this application. The firm allows for the measurement of draping effects in the gaps, cycles and curls. As a product of a publicly-supported research project, this application was also promoted by Faserinstitut Bremen e.V, Haindl Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH, Institute for Textile Technologies of RWTH Aachen University, J. Schilgen GmbH & Co. KG, SAERTEX GmbH & Co. KG, Textechno H. Stein GmbH & Co. KG.
The awards, which were given in 11 different categories this year, have been distributed since 1998. The activity, where 1600 firms took part in total, 177 companies and 433 partners were awarded, is defined as an event which crowns the high technology products and sector achievements. The competition is held in JEC Europe (Paris), JEC Asia (Singapore), JEC America (Boston), China and India.
Textechno Organized a Successful Edition in Sanghai
Textechno Herbert Stein GmbH & Co.KG and Lenzing Instruments displayed the latest technology test devices used for fiber, yarn, fabric and nonwoven at ITMA Asia Fair. FAVIMAT+ which is the high technology product of the firm was introduced as one of the most important test devices with its structure combining six single-fiber test methods. This technology which is the first of its field drew a great attention by the clients. At the same time, the device can be used to test various fibers including Uhmpe, glass, charbon etc. The test process can be made full-automatic with AIROBOT 2 system in connection to FAVIMAT+.
Covafil+ which was designed for filament yarns was also included among the products introduced by Textechno in the fair. The test device is defined as a reliable quality control system. It also enables the testing of all the yarn parameters. The system draws an immense attention with its successful structure as its conformity to various systems is proven. In addition to these products, Drapetest system was also presented to the clients.
