Roland DG introduced its fluorescent inks formulated for Texart XT-640 and RT-640 which are wide-format dye sublimation printers.

Roland DG Introduced Its New Inks

Texart printers which are specially designed for dye sublimation transfer printing offers high printing quality and efficiency for sportswear, ready wear, cloth plates, promotion products and more. Fluorescent pink (Fp) and yellow (Fy) inks can be combined with Texart process ink colors of Roland DG in order to produce hundreds of vivid fluorescent shades. Certified Roland DG Fluor Colour Library swatch palette can be installed in Adobe® Illustrator® and CorelDraw® for ease of use and colour customization. Roland DG exhibited numerous exemplary textile practices created with fluorescent inks at Drupa 2016 for the first time.

Yuko Maeda, Head of Roland DG Digital Printing Market Development Department, stated that the new fluorescent inks will be available in one configuration of CMYK or ViFpFy for Texart XT-640 and RT-640 printers with ErgoSoft Roland Edition RIP software in the mid of July 2016.  She said that, “There is an increasing demand for customized and small-lot productions in the growing field of textile decoration. We believe that the addition of fluorescent inks not only will increase versatility of our Texart printers but also expand textile printing opportunities for all users and users in the sectors of sportswear and fashion, in particular.”
