Digital printing technology developer Atexco introduced VEGA the digital carpet printing machine it developed for carpet manufacturers at ITMA Milano. The biggest advantage of digital printing when compared to the traditional jet printing machines is that digital ink printing technology allows for a high resolution of 400-1200 DPI while traditional printing machines can reach 76 DPI resolution at the highest. Thus, VEGA series printing machines where more precise details can be processed has 3 different size options as 4 m; 3,20 m and 2,50 m.
Being capable of making prints of 400 – 600 square meters per hour, VEGA stands out with its low maintenance cost and compact design. Thanks to the cartridges inserted into the system of the digital printing machine, the problem of preparing printing dye stock paste is eliminated in VEGA. Along with VEGA, Atexco also exhibited the innovations in 16 and 25 DPI carpet jet printing machines. Differently from other printing systems used in the sector, these machines where jets can be removed, cleaned and re-inserted can be used for a longer period at a lower cost.
