According to company officials, discussions held with customers throughout the exhibition focused on investment plans, technology requirements, and potential collaborations. While the majority of visitors came from Türkiye, the strong participation of professionals from Egypt and Syria also attracted attention. It was stated that interest in solutions aimed at efficiency, flexibility, and cost management continued throughout the contacts established during ITM 2026.
The Turkish Market Remained in the Spotlight
Karl Mayer’s warp knitting exhibition focused on new machine technologies and textile applications. The HKS 4-M EL ECO machine displayed at the exhibition attracted visitors’ attention with its production concept capable of adapting rapidly to changing market conditions and its efficiency-oriented features. Examples related to upholstery fabrics, sports textiles, curtain applications, and ready-to-wear products were also included within the company’s exhibition concept.
New Opportunities in Technical Textiles Are Being Evaluated
Technical textiles emerged as one of the key topics during exhibition discussions. While solutions for geotextiles, construction textiles, and advertising applications attracted visitor interest, it was noted that economic conditions continue to influence investment decisions. Despite this, the company announced that new business connections had been established and existing partnerships strengthened in the field of technical textiles. On the warp preparation side, automation investments were among the topics attracting attention. It was stated that rising labor costs in Türkiye are directing manufacturers toward more efficient and automation-based systems. In this context, technical discussions were held regarding MULTI-MATIC warp sampling machines and the PRODYE indigo dyeing system.
Digital Services and After-Sales Support Come to the Fore
Karl Mayer also stated that demand for after-sales services and digital solutions has increased. Spare parts, technical support, and digital service solutions offered by the company’s Care Solutions division were among the topics that attracted visitor interest during the exhibition. Assessments made after ITM 2026 indicate that interest in technology investments continues despite the current economic challenges facing the textile industry and that efficiency-focused solutions will maintain their importance in the coming period.
