The mystery of invisibility, which has been the subject of science fiction novels and films, has now been resolved. Researchers from the Canadian military camouflage uniform manufacturer HyperStealth Biotechnology Corporation have developed a special product that can hide a person, vehicle, ship, and even the entire building. The company patented the material and called it Quantum Sheath. Produced for military purposes but this product may be a part of our daily lives in the coming years.
No Power Supply Required
The material filed in the company's patent application in early October gives invisibility to the target by bending the light around the object without the need for a power source. Exhibiting the features of Quantum Sheath, the company showed in a 100-minute video that a tank and airplane model could be hidden by the invisibility cloak.
It Also Passes Infrared Rays
Guy Cramer, CEO of Hyperstealth stated that the material is very thin and light, pointed out that a person, vehicle or building surrounded by ‘Quantum Sheath' does not appear even in ultraviolet (UV), infrared and short wave infrared systems. Hyperstealth CEO said, “Quantum Stealth promises privacy that no other camouflage can provide in any environment, any season, any time of day or night.” and stated that they have been working on this technology for the last nine years. No explanation has been made regarding the production date and price of the product that provides the hiding of the objects.
