As part of the GTM2025 News studies, we interviewed Erteks CFA Board Member Serhat Erçetin about their companies and their fair participations.

Question: Could you give us some information on the product range which offered to the Turkish textile sector?
When appointing a new representative, the most important point is to choose products and machinery that provides savings in labor under heavy economic conditions and have a longer lifecycle compared to our competitors. For this purpose, we aim to increase the profitability of yarn manufacturing companies in the region (Gaziantep, K.Maraş, Adana, Malatya, Urfa, Kayseri, Niğde) with the advantage of 2 times the service life of the products of our competitors with the travelers and rings belonging to AB Carter, which we started representing last year. We also plan to activate our Geron card wires winding workshop in Gaziantep in 2025, where we will serve yarn companies. Our current installations continue in this region regarding Argus Fire & Metal Protection Systems, which are the most preferred in new investments.
As you know, our city of Gaziantep has become one of the few Nonwoven production centers in the world. We plan to play an active role in the new investments of our Nonwoven customers with our latest representative Goebel IMS state-of-the-art Winding and Slitting Lines. Apart from this, we plan to serve our Spunlace customers in Gaziantep with Geron Card Wires. In Nonwoven companies, we also respond to all demands of our customers with a single point of contact with CEIA Metal Detectors, Canalair Ventilation and Humidification Systems, Bonino Blowroom, Carding and Recycling Lines, Futura Calenders and GKD Process Tapes.
In addition to our Schelling and Scardassi raising wires, which we have been representing for many years in the field of dyeing and finishing and which are number 1 in the sector, we will exhibit our ITB Sanfor felts (knitted), which we have achieved a good sales volume in the last 2 years, especially in Kahramanmaraş, at this fair. Our other products to be exhibited in the field of dyeing and finishing are Textape Cylinder Winding Tapes, CEIA Metal Detectors and ETV Moisture Measurement and Control Systems.
As a result, we will be at the GTM fair with solutions that reduce our customers' costs and increase their efficiency in the textile industry.
