A mechanical engineer by training, Lotzmann has been contributing to the success of KARL MAYER Technical Textiles since 2008 in various roles. He began his career as a development engineer in application technology before becoming a key contact for customers as a sales engineer. In 2013, he moved into Sales Management and later took over responsibilities for Sales, Product Management, and Application Technology.
In his new role, Lotzmann will focus on strengthening the company’s operations at its Chemnitz and Selbitz sites, positioning them as key hubs for sales, service, and development. Meanwhile, the production and assembly of machines will be restructured within the KARL MAYER Group.
“Our customers can continue to rely on the quality and performance of our machines, but going forward, we will be even more market-oriented and better aligned with their needs. Innovation is more essential than ever, and our drive to deliver it has never been stronger,” said Lotzmann.
The new Managing Director is also looking forward to ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 with great anticipation. At the KARL MAYER stand (Hall 5, Booth A301) at Singapore EXPO, he aims to engage with customers, present technological innovations, and gain valuable insights into current market demands.
