KARL MAYER has announced that it has signed an agreement for the transfer of selected assets from the former STOLL business unit. The assets are planned to be transferred to Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd. (CIXING Group).
At the beginning of 2025, KARL MAYER announced its strategic decision to focus on its core business areas of WARP KNITTING, WARP PREPARATION and TECHNICAL TEXTILES. As part of this decision, the flat knitting machine activities carried out under the STOLL brand were discontinued and the production facility in Reutlingen was closed in October 2025.
Following this development, KARL MAYER announced that it has signed an agreement for the transfer of selected assets from the former STOLL business unit. The assets are planned to be transferred to Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd. (CIXING Group). The transaction has not yet been completed and the closing is expected to take place at a later date. In its statement, the company noted that the future use of the transferred assets falls entirely under the responsibility of the CIXING Group and that the current agreement does not cover this matter.
