A graduate of the Industrial Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University and holder of an MBA degree from the University of Michigan, Hasan Hakan Şahin held senior management positions throughout his career at organizations including Procter & Gamble, Eczacıbaşı Yapı Grubu, McKinsey & Company, Nobel İlaç, and Biofarma İlaç.
Şahin assumed various responsibilities in the fields of production, supply chain management, corporate transformation, growth strategies, and international operations. Most recently, he served as CEO of Biofarma İlaç.

Founded in Gaziantep in 1904, the company today carries out the operations of ISKO, SANKO Havlu, as well as cotton yarn and knitted fabric production under the same roof. SANKO Tekstil continues its activities in the textile industry through its operational network reaching more than 60 countries.
