Brückner Textile Technologies is presenting the latest advancements in modern textile finishing at this year’s Itma Asia Citme exhibition in Singapore. With more than 75 years of experience in developing customized technologies for textile equipment, the German company highlights innovations centered around energy-saving processes, automation, digitalization, and maximum productivity.
New POWER-FRAME SFP-2: High efficiency for cotton-rich fabrics and lower investment cost
One of Brückner’s key innovations at the fair is the POWER-FRAME SFP-2 stenter, developed especially for finishing processes of fabrics with a high cotton content. Suitable for both drying and heat-setting, this new generation model offers easy cleaning thanks to horizontally positioned lint filters, intelligent split-flow air circulation, a vertical transport chain, and energy-efficient motors and gas burners.
The company notes that this model provides the advantage of lower investment cost and shorter delivery times compared to the high-tech SFP-4 stenter.
Next-generation heating and fully automatic cleaning system on the SFP-4
Brückner is also introducing new features for the POWER-FRAME SFP-4, known for its energy efficiency and ease of maintenance. Innovations include electrically and hydrogen-powered heating systems, intelligent software for recipe optimization, heat-recovery systems, and exhaust air purification modules.
The new fully automatic cleaning system significantly reduces maintenance time and labor costs, and cleaning processes can be carried out without interrupting production.
AI-powered ExperTex simulation tool enables “right-first-time” production
Another major innovation introduced by Brückner is ExperTex, an AI-based simulation software. Users can simulate drying or heat-setting processes on a computer and compare KPIs such as energy consumption, CO₂ footprint, production costs, and processing time.
This system provides accurate pre-calculation of orders, identifies energy-saving opportunities, and supports “right-first-time” production with optimized recipes. All these features are accessible through the company’s new myBrückner customer portal.
New POWER-DRY PD-1: High evaporation capacity for knitted fabrics
Brückner is also unveiling the completely redesigned POWER-DRY PD-1 relax and shrink dryer for finishing knitted fabrics.
The machine can process both open-width and tubular fabrics and delivers high evaporation capacity despite its compact design. It stands out with horizontal lint filters, an energy-saving suction zone, easy-access sliding doors, and low maintenance requirements.
Additionally, CO₂-free production is made possible through a hybrid heating system or a high-temperature heat pump.
A new solution in coating: OPTI-COAT 2in1
The OPTI-COAT 2in1 coating unit is another innovation introduced by Brückner at the fair. Combining the advantages of floating-knife and knife-over-cylinder technologies, the system enables high-precision paste and foam coating, while offering optimal accessibility for cleaning and maintenance.
