LABORTEKS, which was founded in 1996, is frequently mentioned with its solutions for the laboratory needs of factories. LABORTEKS General Manager Ahmet Petek, the Turkish representative of all expert companies in their fields as well as installing of complete laboratory projects as a package, talked about their decision to exhibit at the Gaziantep Textile Machinery Fair and underlined their participation with a strong representation, Petek said, ‘’Now we will participate in the Gaziantep Textile Machinery GTM2025 fair, so let’s put aside many sectors we serve and focus on textile sector solutions at this fair then. We design and install complete laboratory projects from A to Z in textiles. We carry out the project work of the area which assigned to us in architectural terms. We deliver laboratory projects to our customers as turnkey under both ISO 17025 and corporate brand accreditation conditions.
Tailor-Made Laboratory for Businesses
After the needs analysis, we present all of the expectations of our customers as a project with our 29th year of experience. In our project presentations, we present both laboratory equipment and the necessary laboratory devices as a package. After the laboratory installation, we deliver the project by receiving the user's satisfaction with the training of the devices and test methods.
''We Represent International Brands in Turkey''
Petek, who emphasized on the Turkey representation of the international companies under their own umbrella, said, '' In Dye laboratories, fabric quality control & physics laboratories and yarn quality control test devices field, RAPİD, GESTER, CHANGFENG reported that they are amongst the primary choices of customers. LABORTEKS is now acknowledged as a brand in Turkey in terms of textile sector chemistry laboratories, textile dye laboratories, textile physics laboratories and yarn laboratories. Being able to provide both marketing-sales and after-sales technical services in the regions and provinces where the textile sector is located makes us strong.
''We Expect Investors to Come from Syria''
But Antep is important to us because we have already done many projects, although we had a very bad fair experience in Antep about 10 years ago since we experienced a lot of pain at the time, and despite of all these drawbacks we have to participate again. First of all, we want to maintain our close relations with our customers. On the other hand, we want to catch up with the new industrial move that will start with the change experienced in Syria with this fair. In addition, the fact that the fair is located in the center of the textile clustering region and that air transportation from cities such as Uşak, Denizli, Bursa, Çorlu and Istanbul to Gaziantep is conveniently provided has given us an insight about the intense visitor participation.’’
''Gaziantep Deservees Brand Fairs’’
While sharing expectations on successful fairs to be organized in Gaziantep, Ahmet Petek said, ‘’Brand fairs should be organized in a city that is a leader in many sectors in terms of production and industrial capacity. It is a great deficiency that the city has not been known with successful fairs until today. Hopefully, this situation will be remedied with fairs and organizations to be held both in our sector and in other sectors in the future.’’
''The Region of the Fair Strengthen Us’’
While underlining their strong position in the region where the Gaziantep Textile Machinery Fair is held, said, ‘’We are very ambitious in the region. In other words, we have the potential to establish almost all of the laboratories of very well-established companies in Antep. Similarly, we had been a little behind in Adana in Maraş since we focused a lot on Adana in the last 5-6 years. We have done projects in Adana, we are currently doing projects in Elazığ, we are doing projects in Malatya, in other words, in almost every field of textiles, we can actually say that we have become a brand in a very ambitious way, because if a dyehouse is going to be established, our customers reach out to us prior to its installment. Our customers reach out to us in planning phase because we carry out the feasibility study and we are in a position to advice in conditions such as the required amount of budget for the laboratory.
We have a friend who works from home office in the Maraş region, a textile engineer. We also have a friend who works from home office in the Bursa region, a chemical engineer who knows textiles very well, and a friend who works in the Denizli region, a textile engineer, who also knows the market very well.
We also have office friends in Çorlu, and we are actually very ambitious in the textile sector right now, to be honest. In addition to the Turkish market, we have delivered some projects in Russia right now, we are doing many projects in Uzbekistan as well. In addition to these, there is also Egypt, and we are providing services there as LABORTEKS.''
