During the fair, held in Frankfurt, Germany in April 2026, the company attracted attention with its high-performance functional yarn solutions, sustainable production approach and R&D-oriented product development strategy. The products it introduced within the framework of sustainability, which has become one of the defining themes shaping the future of technical textiles, were among the prominent innovations of the exhibition.

At Techtextil, recognized globally as one of the most important meeting points for the technical textiles industry, Korteks showcased its wide product range developed to meet the needs of different sectors. The company’s yarn solutions, particularly those focused on technical performance, appealed to high value-added fields such as defense industry applications, automotive, medical textiles and sports textiles. Among the products exhibited at the fair were special solutions including DRY TOUCH® for moisture management, TAÇ FLAME RETARDANT with flame-retardant properties, TAÇ ANTISTATIC with antistatic functionality, TAÇ THERMAL TOUCH® providing heat control, TAÇ UV RESISTANT offering UV resistance and TAÇ CLEAN GUARD® designed for hygiene-oriented applications. In addition, TAÇ CUT RESISTANT with cut-resistant properties, the hybrid-structured TAÇ HYBRID®, infrared technology-based TAÇ INFRARED® and the highly visible TAÇ FLUORESCENT® also attracted considerable interest among the technical textile solutions displayed at the fair. The products exhibited by the company once again demonstrated that not only aesthetics, but also safety, durability, performance and functionality have become decisive factors in the technical textiles sector.
Sustainable production approach attracted attention
One of the strongest messages delivered by Korteks during the fair was its sustainability vision. The company emphasized that it has integrated the circular economy approach into its production processes through next-generation yarn solutions aimed at reducing environmental impacts. Sustainable products highlighted at the exhibition included TAÇ REBORN®, developed using recycled raw materials, TAÇ BIOLOOP® CiCLO Inside offering biodegradable properties, and Dope Dyed technology, which reduces water and energy consumption during production processes. At a time when issues such as carbon footprint, energy efficiency and resource management are gaining increasing importance in the global textile industry, the environmentally friendly solutions developed by Korteks were closely followed by sector professionals.

Strong production infrastructure reaching 50 countries
With its extensive production capacity and product diversity, Korteks maintains a strong position in the global market by producing approximately 3,000 different types of polyester filament yarns. The company’s products are used in a broad range of applications, from apparel fabrics to carpets and upholstery products, and from home textiles to automotive interior trim components. In addition, Korteks products are also preferred in outdoor applications such as awnings, tarpaulins, garden furniture, sun loungers and umbrellas, offering solutions tailored to the technical expectations of various industries.
