Olaf Schmidt: “Demand for Efficiency and Flexibility at Its Peak”

Economic pressures and uncertain market conditions have made efficiency and flexibility more critical than ever.”

Innovative Solutions to Industry Challenges

The industry currently faces numerous challenges: reduced investment, rising tariffs, declining consumption, and geopolitical uncertainty. Texprocess 2026 offers solutions to these issues through robot-assisted sewing units, intelligent material flow systems, and AI-based quality control.

Elgar Straub, Managing Director of VDMA, highlighted the importance of innovation:“At Texprocess 2026, exhibitors will once again set significant trends to strengthen the competitiveness of their customers,” he said.

Synergy with Techtextil

Texprocess generates strong synergies with the concurrently held Techtextil. For the first time, Performance Apparel Textiles, Textile Chemicals & Dyes, and Fibres & Yarns will be located in Hall 9.0, directly adjacent to Texprocess in Hall 8.0.

At the previous edition, 72% of Techtextil visitors also visited Texprocess, significantly expanding the potential customer base for exhibitors.

Broad Industry Spectrum

Texprocess covers the entire range of textile processing technologies, from design, cutting, sewing, and finishing to digital printing. Professionals from a wide variety of sectors – including apparel, denim, workwear and protective clothing, footwear, home textiles, automotive, and medical products – attend the fair.

The comprehensive market overview provided by Texprocess serves as a crucial reference point for investment decisions.

Conclusion

With strong registration figures, increasing international participation, and groundbreaking innovations, Texprocess 2026 is set to once again shape the future of the textile and apparel industry. The upcoming event in Frankfurt will serve as the leading global platform where the industry’s most important trends are defined.
