
Messe Frankfurt authorities told about the details of Techtextil and Texprocess event to the press that will be held between the date of 11-13 2013. Some important names of Messe Frankfurt participated in Techtextil and Texprocess information meeting organized simultaneously for the second time. The meeting in which Aleksandar Medjedovic (General Manager, Messe Frankfurt Istanbul), Michael Janecke (Techtextil Fair Manager, Messe Frankfurt),Iris Jeglitza-Moshage (Texprocess Fair Manager, Messe Frankfurt) and Elgar Straub (General Manager, VDMA)were spokepersons made in Hyatt Regency Hotel in 11th February. Besides Turkish press members, the organization was followed by foreign publishing editors who came from 10 different countries. International Technical Textile, Techtextil- Nonwovens Exhibiton, International Textile and Texprocess-Fair for Processing Textile and Flexible Materials authorities continue the promotion works of the fair.
Techtextil Fair Manager Michael Janeke taking part as spokesperson in the organization held in Istanbul answered our questions after the event. He shared important informations about the exhibition with Textil Dünyası Magazine and stated that many firms would present their innovations in the event. Janeke underlining that there would be a special part in Textile for introducing the innovations indicated more obvius information would be obtained from the firms as of April.
Janeke also made assessments about the firms participating in Techtextil organizations and drew attention to increasing investments and demands of Indian firms in technical textile. Janeke, mentioning his future plans about some special events in India because of these increasing attempts, continued as “Recently, Indian producers have substantially changed their demands to technical textiles. A serious change to this area in global market is a matter of discussion. In addition, Turkey is the primary one of other countries showing a fast improvement. Turkish firms will participate in Techtextil as pavilion for the first time. The government made a significant contribution in association with ITKIB (Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations). These works will maket he firms take part in the event in a more powerful way.”
Turkish Pavilion Will Take Part in Different Halls
Janeke explaining that there are 13 country pavilions in the event stated Turkish firms would advertise their product not in a single special but different areas. He expressed that demand for a pavilion differed from country to country and added countries with at least 10 firms officially could take part as pavilion. Janeke said pavilions provided firms with notable advantages and continued as “ Pavilions make contributions to the participants that participate for the first time in terms of logistic. Moreover, countries advertise in a more active and efficient way. Also, governments give support for this issue.”
Janeke denoted that the firms that produce nonwoven, one of the most significant segment of textile apart from country pavilions, had still been cheking in and added “I think, nonwoven producers will show more interest in the exhibiton as the time is closing for the start of exhibition.” Janeke who assessed the firms that made come-back underlined the fact that they returned as a result of quality presentation in every edition made by Techtextil.
Symposiums Will Inform The Participants and The Visiters
Janeke stated that two symposiums would be arranged in Techtextil event and the attention on the event would be raised by these Techtextil and Avantex Symposium. He emphasized that both symposiums had been carried out studies that would be driving force for the sector and he continued “The topic of the symposium include the last innovations and technological developments. Techtextil symposium generally take shape around the issues of new productions and technological developments in textile. The event focuses on availability, maintainability and pavilions. Some of the themes of Techtextil Symposium are needs of the users, textile products with high performance and nano technology, maintainable textile technologies, new fibers, the use of technical textile in pavilions, improvement of the issue of maintainability in technical textile, smart textile products, improvement Technologies.”
Janeke also mentioned the topics of Avantex Symposium. “Avantex Symposium will be an event in which global opinions about new products, trends and textile materials take place. This organization focuses on availability and protective products. Themes of Avantex Symposium are protective personal protective clothing, smart clothing products, functional clothing, clothes and electronical systems.” he expressed.
Two Simultaneous Events, A Great Chance For Visiters
Texprocess Fair Manager Iris Jeglitza-Moshage who made speech in promotion event in Hyatt Hotel reminded that this second Texprocess event would bring the firms offering solutions based on high technology and the participants offering opinions about using source. Expecting visitors from more than 90 countries, she said besides 17.000 visitors, they would host 330 participants from 40 countries. Moshgage stressed that 70% of the fair area had been already sold and she continued “Even thoughTexprocess is a new exhibiton compared to Techtextile, I find it very successful. Participating firms open to new ideas will take part in both events. Visitors are lucky as they will attend two high quality events at the same time. They have a chance to see two fairgrounds with only one ticket.”
Reminding that one of the most outstanding issues in Texprocess exhibition is information tecnologies area, Moshage stated that these processess supported not only the production and in a commercial way but also expediting and optimizing the producing process. Moshage explained that on top of focal points there would be 3D simulations used in several areas including design, cutting and marketing. “With the title ‘Source It’, many solutions will be offered to ready-to-wear sector, too. New work connections will be established in that area. I expect the firms to express themselves in the most useful way” she expressed.
German Mechanics are Significant for Turkey
In a meeting held by Messe Frankfurt, VDMA General Manager Elgar Straub also explained his studies related with sector and German machine producers’ thoughts about the exhibition. Straub stated increasing awareness of maintainability, increasing costs of production and importance of the time caused trouble for producers and denoted that these expectations resulted in demand growth for new technologies. Saying that Turkey has begun to have a corner on global market, Straub noted the consistent growth in processing of technical textiles. Straub ended his words as “ I would like to indicate that demand of consumers is at a high point in the market of Turkey. In addition we should underline the importance of Turkey in the whole region from Arabian countries to Central Asia. The location of Turkey which is close to the most important purchasers in Europe, including East and Southeast Europe, its sfillful workforce and tradition of textile processing cause Turkey to create a difference.”
