Next-Generation Sustainability: Imogo Takes the Stage at ITMA

Swedish textile technology company imogo showcased its sustainable dyeing solutions at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, held in Singapore from October 28–31, 2025. The company presented its Dye-Max spray dyeing system, which significantly reduces water and energy consumption compared to conventional jet dyeing methods.

Dyeing One Kilogram of Fabric with Only 0.5 Liters of Water

imogo’s Dye-Max system offers an eco-friendly transformation in textile dyeing by using just 0.5 liters of water per kilogram of fabric.
The company’s Executive Partner Christian Moore shared details about the system: “Thanks to the low liquor ratio, much fewer auxiliary chemicals are needed, and all of them are utilized in the process. This drastically reduces both water waste and wastewater output. In addition, the low liquid content minimizes the energy required for fixation.”

The Dye-Max technology can be implemented without any modifications to existing dyeing lines and operates with traditional dyes at room temperature.

Strategic Support from Blåkläder

At the exhibition, imogo shared a booth (Hall 6, D106) with Swedish textile machinery manufacturer ACG Kinna. The company also announced a new strategic collaboration with Blåkläder, one of the leading brands in the workwear industry.

With production facilities in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Bangladesh and an annual turnover of SEK 2.7 billion, Blåkläder already employs dope dyeing technology to reduce resource use in synthetic fibers. Through imogo’s Dye-Max technology, the company emphasized the potential for eco-friendly production with natural fibers such as cotton, linen, and viscose.

Blåkläder’s Managing Director Anders Carlsson commented on the partnership: “The greatest environmental impact from clothing occurs during the manufacturing stage. imogo’s innovative approach provides solutions to some of the textile industry’s toughest sustainability challenges.”

New Showroom Opened in Sweden

At the same time, imogo inaugurated its new showroom and test center at the 7H Färgeri dyehouse in Kinnahult, Sweden.

CEO Joacim Wellander summarized the purpose of the facility: “This showroom will serve as a platform for developing innovative ideas in collaboration with manufacturers, brands, and research institutions. Visitors will be able to see our technology in operation and experience its direct impact on business processes.”

The new facility also functions as a knowledge hub, supporting technical training, application testing, and joint R&D projects.

Pilot Installation with H&M Supplier in Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, imogo successfully installed its first Dye-Max system at the Chorka Textile plant, one of H&M’s key suppliers under the retailer’s Green Fashion Initiative.

Christian Moore shared details about the project: “The installation was carried out entirely by our own team, and high-quality results were achieved in a short time. This project has proven that our technology is now fully ready for the global market.”
