According to the new arrangement, MUNICH FABRIC START, THE SOURCE, BLUEZONE and KEYHOUSE will take place on 21–23 July 2026. This strategic change aims to strengthen the fair’s position as the starting point of the season.
The management stated that the date adjustment was made following extensive consultations with exhibitors, visitors and industry stakeholders. The new positioning is expected to enable brands to present their sample collections at a more suitable time and to manage their order processes more efficiently. For 2027 and the following years, the goal is to set a fixed date in early July.
The complementary event VIEW Premium Selection will continue with two separate timings: a late-season reVIEW in December 2025, and early-season preVIEW editions in September and December 2026.
With its updated schedule, MUNICH FABRIC START will offer the textile and fashion industry two aligned presentation platforms each season, providing manufacturers and brands with greater flexibility for product showcasing and order planning.
