Among the exhibiting companies were Crestex, Faisal, Gohar and Kausar Processing, operating in Pakistan’s Faisalabad region, as well as Karachi-based Al Karam, Adamjee, Liberty, Lucky and Rainbow, and Lahore-based manufacturers such as Kohinoor, Nishat Chunian and Sapphire. These companies showcased products aimed at the European market in the fields of home textiles and contract textiles.

Focus on the European market

For these vertically integrated manufacturers, Europe remains one of the key end markets for home textiles. European buyers apply decisive criteria in areas such as quality, safety and production continuity in bedding, towelling products and decorative home fabrics. Therefore, supplying the European market is important for manufacturers not only in terms of order volume, but also in terms of serving as a reference point in international markets.

Pakistan is among the countries with large-scale vertical integration, covering stages from cotton raw materials to yarn production, weaving, knitting, wet processing, finishing and garment manufacturing. This structure enables alignment with purchasing models that are increasingly common in Europe, where buyers prefer working with fewer but larger and more integrated suppliers.

Traceability and process transparency

Among the demands of European buyers, traceability, transparency in production processes and consistency across multiple seasons stand out. Pakistani companies with vertically integrated production structures respond to these expectations by managing yarn selection, fabric construction, finishing and final product manufacturing under a single control mechanism.

Monforts officials state that manufacturers in Pakistan have a production culture aligned with European standards and that the predictability of logistics processes towards Europe strengthens their position in this market. It is noted that the company is actively involved in facilities in Pakistan with technologies such as MONTEX stenter frames, MONFORTEX sanforizing units and THERMEX dyeing ranges.

Long-term partnerships

Monforts continues its cooperation with its local partner Al Ameen, which has been operating in Pakistan for more than 40 years. According to statements by the company, continuous R&D activities and machine developments focused on productivity and energy efficiency have enabled Monforts to achieve a high market share in the stenter market in Pakistan.

Within the scope of Heimtextil 2026, the products exhibited by Pakistani manufacturers covered various end-use areas, primarily including home textiles, towelling groups and decorative fabrics. It is stated that the meetings held during the fair provided an important basis for the continuation of commercial relations with the European market.
