Milano Unica Prepares for the New Season Through Dual Platforms

Milano Unica continues its preparations for the Fall-Winter 2027/28 season through both physical and digital platforms. Reflecting the fair’s creative vision, the Tendenze projects together with the e-MilanoUnica Connect platform have made season trends, material directions and sustainability-focused content accessible to industry professionals.

Tendenze shapes the creative direction of the season

The Tendenze projects prepared each season by Milano Unica stand out as the result of creative research carried out by the Style Commission. Inspired by art, cultural movements and contemporary social trends, the seasonal themes are presented within the Trend Book together with mood boards, colour charts and fabric samples. This work serves as an important reference source for exhibitors and buyers. The Tendenze projects will also be showcased within the MU Tendenze Sostenibilità Area at the exhibition. Fabrics and materials interpreting the seasonal themes by participating companies will be presented in a dedicated inspirational environment, while labels attached to the products will provide information regarding their sustainability performance.

Digital platform provides pre-show access

The new season edition of e-MilanoUnica Connect, Milano Unica’s digital platform, has also gone live. Developed in collaboration with Pitti Immagine, the platform allows visitors to explore participating companies and collections ahead of the exhibition. Through the platform, visitors can access information regarding companies’ identities, business areas and first previews of their Fall-Winter 2027/28 collections. In the coming period, additional content related to products selected within the MU Tendenze Sostenibilità project is also planned to be added to the platform.

Editorial inspirations come to the forefront

The “Inspirations” section of e-MilanoUnica Connect features editorial content focused on materials, surfaces and collections. In the content prepared by Zoom on Fashion Trends, relationships between products, textures and surface effects are explored through mood boards and creative interpretations. Through this structure, Milano Unica combines the physical exhibition experience with digital research processes while placing sustainability, creativity and material innovation at the centre of seasonal preparations.
