
The Lean Thinking Training Program organised in cooperation with the Bursa Provincial Directorate of National Education, BOSİAD and Yeşim Group has been completed. Within the scope of the program, teachers received their certificates after examining lean manufacturing practices, digitalisation processes and production technologies on site at Yeşim Group’s production facilities. During the technical tour, participants had the opportunity to closely observe production processes and gain information about current industrial practices. The program aims to strengthen cooperation between vocational education and industry while helping teachers closely follow sectoral developments.
A Strong Bridge Between Education and Industry
While Neslin Gazioğlu Özkaya, Lean Leadership and Continuous Improvement Manager at Yeşim Group, emphasised the importance of allowing teachers to experience current manufacturing practices on site, School Principal A. Nevzat Tanışık underlined the critical role of school-industry cooperation in the development of vocational education. BOSİAD Chairman Rasim Çağan also highlighted the importance of school-industry cooperation in vocational education. At the end of the program, certificates were presented to the teachers and the objective of strengthening knowledge sharing between education and industry was reaffirmed.
