Laleli, one of Istanbul’s export-oriented fashion hubs, will once again step into the sectoral spotlight with the 11th Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival, organized by LASİAD. The event, scheduled for August 18–19, 2025, aims to enhance the global visibility of local brands in the region.
Turkey’s Strong Stance in Textile Exports
As part of the event, stands and LED towers will be set up along Ordu Street in Laleli, reflecting the area’s dynamic structure on the streets for two full days. A fashion show held on the first day of the festival will offer participating companies a direct opportunity to present their collections to international fashion buyers. Professionally designed in terms of concept, presentation, and digital visibility, the fashion show will also showcase Turkey’s strong position in textile exports.
“Long-Term Customer Potential”
LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca emphasized that the festival represents more than just a commercial event, stating:
“This festival, which reflects Laleli’s strength in design, production, and exports to the world, brings long-term customer potential to the region. It also creates an inspiring vision platform for young entrepreneurs.”
Thousands of professional visitors from dozens of countries—especially Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Romania, Poland, Algeria, and various African nations—are expected to attend this year. The event seeks to deliver a strong message to international markets by combining Laleli’s brand power with Istanbul’s identity as a fashion and export capital.
The festival’s production is being directed by two experienced figures in the fashion industry: Öner Evez and Yakup Biçer.
