Istanbul Yarn Fair Became the Global Meeting Point of the Sector

Bringing together producers, suppliers and buyers on the same platform for three days, the fair once again demonstrated its role as a key hub shaping the global yarn trade. Organized by Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.Ş., the fair reinforced its position as Türkiye’s only international specialized exhibition in the field of yarn, while offering sector professionals a high value-added trade environment thanks to its geographical advantage and strong production infrastructure. This year, the fair hosted a total of 12,285 visitors, including 9,750 domestic and 2,535 international participants. Industry representatives from 91 different countries once again highlighted the fair’s international strength and global appeal.

400 exhibiting companies, wide product range

With a total of 400 companies participating in the fair, 250 domestic exhibitors demonstrated Türkiye’s production strength, while international companies contributed to showcasing the sector’s diversity from a broad perspective. In addition to natural yarns such as cotton, wool, silk and linen, technical and fancy yarns, as well as fibers and fiber products, textile chemicals, dyes and production equipment were presented to visitors throughout the exhibition.

Procurement delegations from nearly 30 countries, particularly from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Europe, held direct meetings with participating companies. These meetings provided companies with opportunities to establish new export connections, strengthen existing business relationships and expand into new markets.

Sustainability and innovation became the main themes of the fair

Among the prominent topics of the fair were sustainable production approaches and innovative yarn technologies. Environmentally friendly production processes, recycled raw materials and high value-added technical yarn solutions stood out as key themes shaping the future of the sector. Within the scope of the fair, the Doku Fabric Design Exhibition and Fashion Show, along with interactive event areas, offered visitors the opportunity to experience the creative journey from yarn to fabric. These activities transformed the event from a purely commercial platform into an inspiring meeting point.

The sector focused on the next meeting

Following the event, sector representatives began preparations for the next edition. It was announced that the International Istanbul Yarn Fair will be held again on March 24–26, 2027, and that the fair will continue to shape the sector with innovative solutions and strong collaborations in its upcoming edition. The International Istanbul Yarn Fair maintained its position as one of the most important meeting points of the sector with its diversity of exhibitors, visitor profile and the commercial opportunities it offered. The organization played a significant role both in showcasing Türkiye’s production strength on the international stage and in establishing new business partnerships.
