The collections on display stood out with high quality, innovative approaches, and compliance with environmental, social, and economic sustainability criteria.

Strong Interest from Foreign Buyers

Throughout the two-day fair, there was a continuous flow of visitors. In particular, a 40-member delegation of buyers from Spain, France, Portugal, Hungary, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Finland, Switzerland, India, South Korea, and China made a strong impact at the fair. In addition, the participation of Texfor – the Spanish Textile Industry Confederation, representing 400 companies, was noteworthy.

Institutional Support: ITA and Piedmont Region

The fair strengthened its international presence thanks to the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Piedmont Region–Ceipiemonte. ITA executives once again emphasized Filo’s strategic importance in the international textile and fashion sector.

New Exhibition Venue and Innovative Projects

Filo’s new location, Fiera Milano Rho, was welcomed by participants. At this edition:

  • The Accessories Area was introduced for the first time,
  • The Trends and Quick Delivery Areas were expanded,
  • The Sustainability Area was re-designed in collaboration with C.L.A.S.S.,
  • A dedicated space was created for the “Made in Filo” fabric collection.

Made in Filo: A Unique Collection in the Sector

The “Made in Filo” collection, created by Filo using exhibitors’ yarns, emerged as a unique initiative in the trade fair landscape. It showcased the technical and creative aspects of textile production for both professionals and students visiting the fair.

Future Agenda of the Textile Sector

At the opening ceremony, Luca Sburlati, President of Confindustria Moda, and Paolo Barberis Canonico, President of Unione Industriale Biellese, highlighted the three main priorities of the sector:

  • Innovation
  • Sustainability
  • Compliance with legislation

They underlined that these issues should be seen not as a burden, but as a competitive advantage.

The Power of Synergy: Simultaneous with Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech

Filo64 was held simultaneously with Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech. This parallel scheduling created a strong synergy within the textile and fashion supply chain.

Next Appointment: Filo65 in February 2026

Filo Director Paolo Monfermoso thanked all stakeholders who contributed to the fair’s success, announcing:
“We will hold Filo65 on February 11–12, 2026, at Fiera Milano Rho.”
