
“One Belt, One Road (OBOR)” project carried into effect by Chinese Government, targets to revive Historical Silk Road. And China Homelife Turkey Fair which leads the commercial relations between China and Turkey is taking over being the worldwide official platform of “One Belt, One Road” project which was started to get stronger the commercial relations between Turkey and China and to reach this project to 60% of the world.
The biggest feet of OBOR project introduced by Chinese Government is Turkey. China that is the growth locomotive of global economy which wants to revive Silk Road on 3 corridors is expected to make 8 trillion dollars investment in total and 40 billion dollars for just transportation at the middle corridor where Turkey is.
China Homelife Turkey Fair, one of important platforms for the development of the commercial relations in Eurasia region, will be held from 31st May to 2nd June at İstanbul Fair Centre. China Homelife Turkey Fair which is organized for the fourth times is held in 11 countries each year. Fair series which is organized in Poland, Mexico, Egypt, Brazil, South Africa, India, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates and Iran in addition to Turkey hosts more than 200 thousands visitors each year.
“The Importance of Silk Road Is Increasingly Going On”
Gülden Parlak; Director of International Relations of China Homelife Turkey Fair, who mentions the importance of the relations between Turkey and China, says “The importance of Silk Road which has hundred years past is increasingly going on. Especially reviving of Silk Road and being of Turkey the founder member of Asia Substructure Investment Bank are forming the fundamentals of the agreements to make between China and Turkey in the future. We are glad to lead this project with our fair.”
As 450 Chinese exhibitor firms participated at the fair which was held in 2017, about 12 thousand people visited the fair. The fair which will be carried out on a 12.500 square meter area with the participation of more than 500 firms in 2018 is expected to host more than 500 bilateral business meetings.
