At the fair, nine European manufacturers showcased products containing ROICA™ for various application areas. ROICA™, developed by Asahi Kasei as a premium stretch fiber, is used across different fabric groups thanks to its technical properties aimed at providing elasticity, comfort, and reduced environmental impact. The collections presented at Milano Unica offered solutions for ready-to-wear, sportswear, underwear, beachwear, and fashion-oriented textile applications.

Collections Addressing Different Segments

Among the exhibiting companies were Brugnoli, Eusebio, Iluna Group, Innova Fabrics, Inter Jersey Milano, Maglificio Maggia, Reda, Sitip Group, and Tessitura Colombo Antonio. These manufacturers developed various fabric structures by combining ROICA™ fiber with materials such as cotton, modal, wool, polyamide, and lace.

Brugnoli presented products focused on cotton- and modal-based stretch fabrics, while Eusebio showcased stretch nylon jersey and jacquard fabrics developed for swimwear and resort wear. Iluna Group introduced its stretch lace collections designed for lingerie and fashion applications to fair visitors.

Innova Fabrics took part with its Residual Free (RF) series aimed at reducing environmental impact, while Inter Jersey Milano presented its SENSUAL TECH collection prepared for the Spring/Summer 2027 season. The collection consists of technical stretch fabrics developed for sportswear and beachwear.

Maglificio Maggia exhibited knitted fabrics containing TENCEL™ Modal and ROICA™, while Reda showcased a technical poplin fabric developed for wool-based menswear. Sitip Group presented technical fabric solutions developed for sports and activewear, and Tessitura Colombo Antonio introduced stretch lace products designed for lingerie and women’s fashion.

Sustainability and Technical Features in Focus

Among the products exhibited at the fair, recycled or partially degradable stretch fibers, certified raw materials, and technical performance features stood out. ROICA™ EF was presented as a recycled stretch fiber, while ROICA™ V550 was introduced as a partially degradable stretch fiber developed in line with specific standards.

Participating companies emphasized compliance with various certification systems and production standards within their collections, while the majority of the showcased products consisted of fabrics manufactured in Italy.
