Automatic weft corrector technology is the most important feature of Mahlo in the textile sector; the principle of scaling and automatic correction of fabric defects is inspired by German philosophy and is today the basis of all modern automatic straightening systems. Sales Manager Thomas Höpfl said,  “With our Generation 15 machines, we combined more than 70 years of experience with latest technology and set the standards for textile production and final processing.” The intelligent control algorithm with self-optimization function ensures reliable removal of all distortions together with the hydraulic or electric spool positioning adapted to it. Even the most complex product structures do not create problems. As an alternative to the standard product, screening systems are available for special product structures. Scanning and distortion correction of patterned products (lace, jacquard, print, terry fabric) is also easily possible.

Access to the Machine from Anywhere With Automation Systems

With the new Generation 15 machines, Mahlo also responds to the increasing connection demands of its customers' machines. Mahlo straighteners, sensors and control cycles are just a click away from the individual data of existing machines. Höpfl also explains; “If the customers use the appropriate sensor technology and the appropriate network connection, they can access the machine from anywhere, if there is a provided Internet connection. Customers also have the option of connecting any machine to the network via the OPC UA server with an appropriate connection.”

Sustainability in Production

Another factor that has become increasingly important for textile manufacturers is sustainability in production. Using process control systems offered by Mahlo, critical parameters such as weight, residual moisture, dwell time or humidity can be measured and controlled. This indicates that the product meets the requirements from the outset and that the manufacturer is not consuming any raw materials or energy. At the stand at the Itma Asia fair, the Mahlo team explained which systems meet which customer requirements.
