We have planted the first seeds of manufacturing yarn with an R&D project conducted with the cooperation of university-industry in the late 90’s, then the realization of the project with polyester short staple fiber and finally in 2010, as Ertona Textile, our know-how and the forming of market needs. In compliance with our needs, we have included the required machinery line and had our first production in 2016.

Due to the spread of R&D and test centers in universities and industrial institutions, we observe that the local machinery and product manufactures say, “We are here, too,” in the last years.

Do you have new investment plans?

The modernization of our current plants is a priority. On the other hand, we plan to double our recycling activities in the forthcoming 5 years depending on the increase of recycling activities of plastic wastes in the world.
