ETİKA Turkey 2022 Ethics Award is given to companies that demonstrate their compliance with ethical practices that must be in line with the international ethical standards, as a result of the evaluation made by the Ethical Values Center in six different categories. In the study conducted every year, Turkey's most ethical companies are selected.
Sun Tekstil participated in the "ETİKA Turkey Ethics Awards" competition again this year and was ranked amongst the companies that were entitled to receive the "ETİKA 2022 Turkey Ethics Awards". With this award, Sun Tekstil was deemed worthy of the "ETİKA Turkey Ethics Award" for the 9th time in a row.
"Just Producing and Selling is Not Enough"
Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Sun Tekstil, Melis Vekiloğlu mentioned about their entitlement for the award 9th time and their proud to have deemed worthy of such honor, “In today's globalizing and shrinking world, it is no longer enough for institutions to simply producing and selling their end-product in order to maintain their existence. In addition, institutions must carry responsibilities to be sensitive to the business and social environments and fulfill these responsibilities within the framework of ethical approaches. Our ethical principles are at the core of our corporate structure, which is shaped by our values and our corporate culture. We strengthened our long-standing social compliance and ethical compliance practices with the Ethics Committee we formed in 2021 and guaranteed compliance with ethical principles in all our activities. As Sun Tekstil, we proceed in the light of our ethical principles in every step we take while doing our business. While we work in accordance with both local and international laws and legislations, we also make an effort to act within our own ethical rules. This award, which we received for the 9th time in a row, proved our commitment to our ethical values and made us proud and happy.”
