Within the same year, and R&D team was formed and they promptly started to work. In 2015, the work of Ibni Sina, an important medical scholar in the history of the world, conducted in the field of natural magnetic field treatments, was examined and inspired by these works, fibers and yarns with natural magnetic properties were developed. Later, using this yarn, the Tesla brand with natural magnetic properties was created. Tesla was tested as a fabric in the world's leading universities and laboratories. These tests have been scientifically proven to improve sleep quality. Our team continues to work with inspiration and successful results from the Tesla project. "

"Our company has been closely working with the leading universities and technology transfer offices of our country under the project where one of the external factors that threaten human health and reduces sleep quality are analysed.  Despite the fact that our project is yet to be completed, it has won a great recognition by the leading furnishing and bedding companies of our sector and it has already created its market.  In parallel with these studies, we have introduced anti-cellulite, freeze, meditation and sakura sleep products among our innovative products. "

The developed anti-cellulite bedding fabric helps to reduce the appearance of the orange peel that is formed on the skin thanks to special nano technological particles. Freeze stands out as a special bedding fabric designed to resist sweltering heat of summer days, to prevent sweating and decline in sleep quality during sleep. The developed Meditation bedding fabric prevents static electricity formation during sleep compared to other standard products.

Sakura Sleep is inspired by Japanese culture. Beginning with the use of cherry blossom in many complaints about mind and thought, the Company plans to help reduce the inconvenience such as uncomfortableness, depression, panic and claustrophobia through Sakura Sleep.

Exports To Over 60 Countries

Şahin also adds they export to more than 60 countries. "We export to 60 countries, particularly including those countries such as USA, Europe, Russia and China, in total.  Comfytex is a brand that has made a name for itself not only in homeland but also in many countries of the world with its innovation, design and quality characteristics", says Şahin.

Having answered our questions especially about their strategies for foreign markets, Şahin shares the following explanations; "In order to increase competitiveness and provide sustainable exports, it is a must that the changes and developments that continuously feel themselves in the whole world are followed, perceived and they are promptly responded.  In the direction of current demands, the direction of change should be analysed and prospective activities should be carried out. In light of this information, we are devising our growth strategies on countries where customer potential is relatively high. We concentrate our activities on the market in regions where we are able to achieve higher profit margins compared to regions where intense competition exists and where low profit margins exist. Our priority objectives are to integrate our company rapidly into changing and evolving conditions and to carry forward our brand-holding processes in our target markets as soon as practically possible.

Innovation and Industry 4.0 Studies Focused

In 2018, Comfytex is planning to increase its value-added production and sales volumes by increasing its studies conducted on R&D and innovation and is preparing to transition to Industry 4.0 with an automation system to make production capacity more productive. "We aim to increase the efficiency of the existing capacity by a minimum of 10 percent without making additional investment in the machinery to be installed by this system," Şahin noted and concludes they will go through a long-term transformation with an approach that takes into account the whole technology and process elements in order to successfully implement the Industry 4.0 system.
