Hascevher Tekstil's Niğde Yarn Facility Started Production

Hascevher Tekstil Board Member İsmail Dinçer said that the factory is the largest industrial facility built in Bor district to date, which will employ 300 people in the first stage, and that this figure will increase to 600 people when the second stage is completed. While stating that as Hascevher Group, producing metal kitchenware since 1993, the company laid the foundations of Hascevher Tekstil by establishing an Open-End facility with a daily production capacity of 40 tons in Kahramanmaraş in 2006, İsmail Dinçer emphasized on their decision to invest in Niğde in 2020 and shared pleasure about commissioning the facility.

While stating about producing cotton yarn in the facility in Bor district, Hascevher Tekstil Chairman of the Board of Directors İsmail Dinçer continued as follows; “First, we acquired the land and started preparations. We have now built-in a facility with a capacity of 60 thousand spindles in Niğde, where we will produce approximately 40 tons per day. It is actually the largest industrial facility built so far in Bor district of Niğde. We have a total area of 492 thousand square meters. We have now closed 97 thousand square meters of it, completed the ring spinning facility investment, and are starting production as of this month. We also completed the Open-End building for the same project. In the next stage, we will also make an Open-End investment. If we take into account land, machinery and construction expenses, it is a total investment of 50 million Euros. The Open-End area has a closed area of 50 thousand square meters, and the ring facility has a closed area of 47 thousand square meters. We will employ 300 people here in the first stage and 600 people when we deliver the second stage."

“Textile is indispensable for Turkey”

While noting that achieving investments for both regional and sectoral reasons, and that the establishment of such a compact facility is a sectorally complementary feature for them, Dinçer said; “Because the customer groups of Open-End and compact facilities generally coincides. If you ask, 'Was it the right period?', in my opinion, an investment decision should not be made regardless of the sector performance in a short period within a year or so. The day we took the investment decision, the textile industry was at a very good point, but when we look at it today, we cannot see a positive indication, but from my perspective, when we consider the periods of perhaps 10-15 years and look at it in that direction, textile is still cannot be sacrificed for Turkey, since it is one of the locomotive sectors for us. We have been aiming to grow in this sector since our first establishment as well. From our company's perspective, it was important to increase sector diversity. Considering these aspects, we decided to make this investment in Niğde. Cotton yarn will be produced here. Once we move to Niğde, we will also apply for R&D and an R&D facility will be established. With the Allah’s will on our mind, we expect to start fancy yarn production in the second half of 2025. In other words, we will produce not only cotton yarn but also different yarns. Because the quality and price ranges of all companies in cotton yarn are more or less certain. There are not many gaps in which we can differentiate ourselves, prove ourselves, and reflect that we love our job. I think that gap can only be filled by producing different yarns.”
