KTM 2021, held with its eight editions this year organized by ECR Fuarcılık, welcomed around 110 exhibitor companies. Within the scope of the fair, adding to the domestic and international technology manufacturers from the textile industry, various service and spare part providers and accessory manufacturers have met with visitors consisting of industry associations and representatives as well as textile manufacturers. The 3-day fair was held simultaneously with the International Textile Summit (UTZ) hosted by the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KMTSO).
Regional Textile Manufacturers Showed Intense Interest during the Fair
KTM2021, held with its eight editions this year, was organized within the compliance to the health and safety measurements associated with the covid-19 pandemic. During the event, 9,785 sector representatives from cities specifically from Kahramanmaraş and its surrounding provinces such as Gaziantep, Adana, Kayseri, Malatya, Adıyaman, Şanlıurfa, Uşak, Bursa and Denizli that are all considered to be the attraction center for textiles.
''We Launched Our Application''
Ertuğrul Kazancı, General Manager of Hey Teknoloji, who participated to the fair for the first time this year, “The fair that we exhibited for the first time has exceeded our expectations. We launched our VİDA Maintenance Management Application at this fair. Besides, we had efficient meetings with many professionals from Kahramanmaraş and from the surrounding provinces. The fair was beneficial for us to meet with companies in our portfolio. Overall, it was a great organization and we have not encountered any issue. The region has a great industrial potential and we wish that the fair will keep its growth momentum.’’

Mahmut Emir, R&D Manager of Redteks Kimya A.Ş, said the following in his personal evaluations about the fair, ‘’KTM 2021 was a great fair for us as REDTEKS KİMYA family. I could say that it was an engaging fair and we were satisfied with the interest. We earned great fair experience. However, we would expect more exhibitors and visitors from surrounding cities (Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa-Adıyaman) as Gaziantep based company. What we witnessed was relatively fewer visitors and exhibitors in numbers. I think that if a bigger location may be chosen for the following fairs, as the center of these provinces, we could see a rise in demand. I believe that more prmotional activities wil make a difference. It will be important to reach citizes about the organization of such events. Apart from these, it was beneficial to have such fairs in Kahramanmaraş. A number of visitors coming from neighboring cities and many companies exhibiting from world regions.

Bringing together exhibitor and visitor companies is the ultimate sign that the fair has achieved its purpose. Fair interest was at the expected level and reach. The presence of leading organizations and officials in the sector was reflecting the importance of the fair.
