Fashionist Gown, Bridal and Groom’s Suit Fair’s first edition which is organized by Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association (OTIAD) was held in 2013 and this year it will take place on 4th- 6th of December 2018 at CNR Expo. More than 100 prominent firms of the sector will participate in the fair. Approximately 15 thousand local and foreigner visitors are expected to the fair and 1,5 billion dollar worth exports are aimed to be increased up to 2 billion dollars.
OTIAD’s Chairman of the Board Rıdvan Kandağ stated that the distribution of places will be determined by drawing lots and said they are organizing this gown, bridal and groom’s suit fair for the fifth time. Kandağ said: “Osmanbey has experience, designing power and production quality based on the long years in the ready-to-wear and textile sectors. With this respect, Osmanbey earned a reputable place in both domestic and international arena.” Karadağ stated that they formed a working group for the Fashionist Fair and working on it fastidiously and said: “It will contribute to our country, firms and buyers a lot.” By this fair, making İstanbul the capital of fashion again is aimed. Buyers from Germany, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom and Israel as well as from Far East and near European regions are expected to participate to the Fashionist Fair.
