The 12th Ordinary General Assembly of the Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists' Association (TEMSAD) was held. At the general assembly meeting held on 26 June, Adil Nalbant was re-elected as the chairman. In the TEMSAD elections held every two years, Adil Nalbant was deemed worthy of the chair for the 8th time.
In the 12th Ordinary General Assembly, which was held with elections, Temsad's board of directors consisted of Adil Nalbant, Mehmet Ağrikli, Hüseyin Birben, Numan Gürel, Cüneyt ALKAN, Levent Yılmaz, İrfan Yolcular, Ali Çakıcı, İzzet Savaş, Seven Yılmaztürk, Yusuf Uskaner.
Making important evaluations about the development of the sector at the 12th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of TEMSAD, Adil Nalbant stated that the pandemic once again revealed how important domestic production is. In his speech on the status of our Textile Machinery exports, he stated that Turkish Textile Machinery manufacturers could not achieve their targeted exports last year due to the pandemic. He stated that the initial export figures of current year were very pleasant and that they would reach their target export figures by the end of the year. Emphasizing that Textile Machinery Imports have increased during the pandemic, Nalbant’s work with the Government yielded results.'' If Turkish manufacturers wish to increase their sales figures and slow down rising imports, technological investments should be made.’’ He stated that they have led many supports as the pioneer of such work with their support demanded in this respect.
At the meeting; Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) President İsmail Gülle, Fashion Ready-to-Wear Federation President Hüseyin Öztürk, Turkish Textile Finishing Industrialists Association President Vehbi Canpolat, Textile Engineers Chamber President Mr. Aykut Üstün and Journalist Board Hakan Güldağ attended and gave speeches.
