Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (İTHİB) officially announced that they are going to support the exhibition same as previous years and the attendance to the Kahramanmaraş Textile Machinery Fair KTM 2020, which will open its doors to the sector representatives for the sixth time between September 24-26 in Kahramanmaraş, which has become the center of Turkish Textile Production by making great strides both in the textile and apparel industry in the last twenty years.
ITHIB and the decision of the association as the main sponsor of KTM 2020 where textile, ready wear, apparel, fabric and yarn manufacturers of machines and accessories manufacturers, as one of the most important business areas locally and globally, and all of their presence in a three day fair at Kahramanmaraş. As a reminder, ITHIB has also sponsored the first fair in 2014. At the first KTM Fair, ITHIB decided to support a textile machinery fair for the first time since its establishment.
In line with the protocol signed between ITHIB and ECR Fair Organization, which organizes the KTM Fair, ITHIB will support the promotion activities of KTM 2020 and will encourage ITHIB members to participate in all events within the scope of the organization, making the fair a business development platform among the participants and visitors.
Chairman of the Board of ITHIB, Ahmet Öksüz, on the subject; "We think that KTM 2020 will contribute to the sector and the economy in Kahramanmaraş the meeting point of neighboring cities that has played an important role in textile production. The new machines that will be exhibited at the fair are important for textile production with high added value, so we cooperate with KTM 2020.”
