A protocole predicting collaboration between Ekoteks which is the participation of İstanbul Apparel Exporters Association (İHKİB) and Germany based Otto Group Hermes Hansecontrol.
Mustafa Gültepe, President of İHKİB, who talked during the signing ceremony, said they are trying to create the required substructure to be able to sell ‘Made In Turkey’ labeled products all over the world. Gültepe who emphasizes Ekoteks expands its service area every passing year, gives place to the following explanations; “Big part of international firms don’t work with the laboratories that don’t have global validity. Ekoteks started its first global collaboration with American Modern Test Service (MTS) 5 years ago. We have taken a bigger step on the issue opening world with the protocol signed with Hermes. Thanks to the protocole, Ekoteks will carry out collaboration with Hermes from England to Australia, from China to Germany. Customer sharing will be able to do between two laboratories when needed. Our exporters and importers will have the possibility of making both faster and more reliable and more economic product test in many countries thanks to this collaboration.”

Hermes CEO Lutz Lehmann, by stating Ekoteks and Hermes are walking through to the same target, said “We can create difference together. Supply chain is increasingly getting more complicated. As well as testing of the products, audit, social compliance and environment- friendly are among the prior issues of supply chain. Therefore we care much the sharing of knowledge.”
