Cüneyt İşman, the founding partner of Pro-SMH, a company achieving world-class production with a total of 20 thousand square meters production capability in its facilities both in Izmit and in Istanbul, shared the issues on the agenda about the company and the sector with Tekstil Business.
İşman shared the history of the company and give background information on its’ establishment as follows, "For more than 100 years, Sucker and Krantz have been the core of German textile machinery construction. The machines with utmost quality and superior performance were provided to thousands of satisfied customers. After a long proven track of history, both companies have come together under the roof of Moenus Textilmaschinen. Following the break-up of Moenus Group, key employees of Moenus Group came together and established PRO-SMH since 2007 to live up the tradition of the world-known Sucker and Krantz brands. "The first purpose of PRO-SMH was to provide specialized service, spare parts, and modification and upgrade services to former customers of these brands."
R&D Center Based on Sucker Technology
Pro-SMH board member Cüneyt İşman said, "In 2015, as the management, we decided to serve the market with completely new machines and series. Growing very fast on a solid foundation, PRO-SMH has become an international brand with its worldwide sales and service network and has already increased its annual turnover to over 25 million Euros. ProSMH focused on R&D with a very big budget in order to offer better machines and solutions to its customers. By these corporate efforts, company has built-in one of the Turkey's leading R & D centers under its facility. German Technology Turkish Engineering
While Sales and Marketing centers of the company are located at Aachen, Germany, production centers are to be said in İzmir and İstanbul as industrial towns, İşman has shared information on their sales and marketing activities and said the following,’’ In 2016, Aachen-based EsBe Consulting and Trading GmbH joined the PRO-SMH group for worldwide sales and service activities. In addition, Rostoni from Italy became a part of the ProSMH group in 2018. The Rostoni family has been involved in weaving preparation for decades to run a company for sizing on a commission basis, building up a great experience especially in the field of technical fibers. Rostoni was also serving the market with custom-built machines that benefited customers greatly by having exceptional reliability and performance.

Industry 4.0 and Sustainability
İşman continued his words as follows. "When manufacturing machines, Pro-SMH only trusts materials and components that meet first class quality standards. Therefore, more than 70% of the materials are in use supplied from Germany and other EU countries. Even for raw materials such as stainless steel, Pro-SMH prefers to work entirely with German and / or Western European manufacturers. The remaining parts are either manufactured by us or supplied from world regions based on the strict rules that require the maintenance of the same quality standards" while underlining their production quality that has never been compromised.
In his statement, great emphasis was given to and corporate efforts were directed at ULTRASONIC and PLASMA ,advanced technologies associated with Industry 4.0 and Sustainability in recent period, which all have gone through their test phase in selected mills that all have expected to be revolutionary in World Of Textiles.
