"We saw the uncertainty"

Hüseyin Köksal, who is the third generation representative of his family in the business world, emphasized that Karsal Örme, which was established in 1995, is a company that grows steadily every year. Underlining his plans looking forward, Köksal said, “In January 2020, we were successfully met 4-month production capacity set. Around the time, markets were experiencing a growth’’ and continued as follows, "China orders were moving to Turkey. However, this movement has made me anxious as it was entailing massive orders. Based on my philosophy, you cannot talk about a happy life by taking advantage of others rights. I was not feeling positive about his obscure situation that could continue for a while. So, we stopped raw material orders and reduced remaining orders as well. As expected, orders have stopped within two months as planned. I did not experience with any loss thanks to my early approach on the subject.’’ Hüseyin Köksal said that this process was taken for manufacturing and shared the following, ‘We closed down our business on March 2020. We could without any issue left our bulky structure and had an efficient period in terms of production.’’

We are planning a new investment

Stating that they are planning to invest $ 50 million in the company in the next 4 years, Köksal said, "As Karsal Örme, we have always been advancing in our company for the last 4-5 years. That is, 117 million TL in 2016, 151 million TL in 2017, 202 million in 2018. TL, we made a turnover of 260 million TL in 2019. Of course, these are approximate figures’’and continued, ‘’If it hadn't been for the pandemic that affected the whole world, we would have reached the turnover target of 300- 350 million that we set at the beginning of 2020. I intend to make a serious investment of $ 50 million in the company within 4 years.’’

We invested what we earned in technology

Revealing the secrets of Karsal Örme's success, which is among the top 3 companies manufacturing for the upper group of men, Köksal said, "We have invested every single amount we have earned so far. We have not kept our capital idle. We invested in our infrastructure and machinery in order to keep up with technology. I don't work with a big company. I do not want bargaining power to be created against me. Some big companies have always come. But I did not work. Instead of having one big customer of mine, I have 10 big and small customers.Don't let it cross like a partner. For example, I produce 700 tons of fabric per month. I sell it to 300 people. If I give 300 tons to a man, that man eventually becomes a voice in my company. You are moving away from the realities of the market.’’
